Nyamache Tea Factory Co. Ltd., located in Gionsaria, Kisii County, was incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap 486) by the Registrar of Companies on 11th February 1977, with construction work starting the same year. Kiamokama Tea Factory currently has a satellite factory.

Our company profile
WHEN
Nyamache Tea Factory Co. Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap 486) by the registrar of companies on 11th February 1977, and construction work started the same year.
It was commissioned in early 1978 by the late His Excellency President Jomo Kenyatta to serve the then-emerging small-scale tea farmers in the Bobassi region of the then-Kisii District.
WHERE
The factory is situated in Kisii County, Nyamache District, Nyacheki Division, Gionsaria Location, Nyantira sub-location of Bobassi Constituency. Nyamache catchment transcends two districts of Gucha and Transmara. The factory is located in Nyamache Town off Kisii – Kilgoris Road, that is approximately 450 km west of Nairobi and 38 km from Kisii town at an altitude of between 1540-2100m above sea level.
